Vegetable harvesting experience at an organic JAS-certified farm (until November 29, 2025)


At Farman Farm Co., Ltd., an organic farm certified by the JAS, located at the southern foot of Mt. Yatsugatake, surrounded by lush nature, you can enjoy a vegetable harvesting experience.
"JAS Organic Certified Cultivation" refers to a cultivation method that does not rely on chemical substances such as pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and is inspected and certified by a third-party organization (registered certification body) in accordance with the organic JAS standards established by the government to be organic food produced using the power of nature.
Only agricultural products and processed foods that have received this certification can bear the "Organic JAS Mark," which is proof that the product meets the established organic standards.
At the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake, 800 meters above sea level, you can experience harvesting seasonal vegetables that can be harvested from autumn to winter, with explanations from local staff.

*Experience time: 40 minutes (including explanation)

*Only participants who harvest will be charged a fee.
The vegetables used are seasonal, such as mizuna, komatsuna, daikon radish, and leeks.

*For those coming from Kiyosato or Sudama: The road on the south side going up from the former Takanekita Elementary School to Farman Farm is very narrow, so we recommend taking the detour route shown in the "Detailed Route Map" image above.
*Go straight at the "Funagata Shrine Entrance" intersection and immediately turn right, then go up the north farm road and turn right and you will find Farman Farm.
