Sambuichi spring water

Sanbunichi Spring is a spring located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and has been selected as one of the 100 best springs in Japan. It was so named because the spring was divided into three equal parts in order to fairly distribute water for agriculture during the Edo period (1603-1867). Located in a rich natural environment at the southern foot of Mt. Yatsugatake, the spring produces approximately 8,500 tons of water per day. The surrounding area is maintained as a park and is ideal for walks and picnics. At the adjacent Sanbunichi Spring Water Museum, visitors can learn about the spring water system and its history, and the popular Sanbunichi Soba Restaurant serves handmade soba noodles made from locally produced buckwheat flour.

Yamanashi Prefecture Flower Center Heidi's Village

Yamanashi Flower Center Heidi's Village is a beautiful flower park themed on "Heidi, Girl of the Alps" in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The vast grounds are filled with flowers blooming throughout the seasons, with the rose corridor and panoramic flower beds being particularly popular. You can enjoy different scenery each time you visit, with tulips in the spring, lavender and sunflowers in the summer, and autumn leaves in the fall. The park also features facilities that recreate the world of the anime, such as the "Heidi Theme Hall" and the "Alm Mountain Hut," making it a spot that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

Yatsugatake Highland Bridge

The Yatsugatake Kogen Ohashi Bridge, known as the "Yellow Bridge," spans the Kawamata River Valley in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It's a large bridge, 100 meters high and 490 meters long, from which you can enjoy magnificent views of the Yatsugatake Mountains, the Southern Alps, Mount Fuji, and more. It's a popular spot for tourists, especially during the seasons of fresh greenery and autumn leaves, offering spectacular views. There's a free observation deck parking lot on the east side of the bridge (near Kiyosato Station), where you can also enjoy spectacular views.

Doryu Falls

Toryu Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the Kawamata River Valley in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is characterized by the way the water flows down like silk threads between the rocks, giving it the feel of a Japanese garden. The waterfall has a drop of about 10 meters and a width of about 15 meters, allowing you to enjoy the scenery of the water flowing quietly in nature. In autumn, the autumn leaves are beautiful, and are best viewed from late October to mid-November. There is also a walking path where you can enjoy the view of the waterfall and mountain stream while strolling.

Kiyosato Terrace

Kiyosato Terrace is a spectacular view spot located at an altitude of 1,900 meters on the summit area of Sun Meadows Kiyosato Ski Resort in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is open from spring to autumn and features an observation deck and sofas where you can relax while looking out at Mount Fuji and the Nobeyama Plateau. At the cafe, you can enjoy sweets and drinks made with local ingredients, with the "Kiyosato Sky Parfait" and "Sky Pudding" being particularly popular.
