Okage Yokocho

Okage Yokocho is a popular tourist spot in Ise City, Mie Prefecture, located near the Inner Shrine of Ise Jingu. The area recreates the townscape of the Edo to Meiji periods, with traditional architecture and cobblestone streets, making it feel like you've traveled back in time.

Chinpu Pass

Chinpu Pass is a historic pass located in Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture, along the old Wakayama Kaido road. This pass is known as a historic site related to the "Kuniwake Legend," and is said to be the place where Amaterasu Omikami and Ameno-Koyane-no-Mikoto met. It is said that the name "Chinpu Pass" came from the remark "Oh, how unusual!" made at the time.
