The Yatsugatake Kogen Music Hall was built on the advice of world-renowned pianist Sviatoslav Richter, who called for a "world-class building." Located a 25-minute shuttle bus ride from Kiyosato Kogen Hotel, this dedicated music hall is nestled within a villa on the southeastern slope of the Yatsugatake mountain range, and is designed for chamber music performances. Its beautiful hexagonal shape blends in with the surrounding mountains. The warmth of the wooden hall creates a soft, natural sound that is pleasing to the ears, delivering the full appeal of music. Since its completion in 1988, the hall has hosted concerts by renowned artists from Japan and abroad, leaving a lasting impression that cannot be experienced in urban concert halls.
