The space will be renovated on March 23, 2026. It will be reborn as a space that makes use of the existing fireplace and enhances the resort atmosphere.

Lake Karamatsu
In the hotel's courtyard, there is Lake Karamatsu, a clear lake fed by spring water from the Yatsugatake Mountains. There is a walking path around the lake that takes about 15 minutes to walk around, and benches for resting are also available.
Utsukushimori Rose Church
The stone Rose Church, floating on Lake Karamatsu, is the symbol of the highland hotel.

*Safety is our top priority at the astronomical observatory dome, so please note that it may not be open depending on weather conditions.
Important points to note when participating
・Reservations are accepted at check-in.
・Please gather at the observatory on the 4th floor 5 minutes before the scheduled time.
・You will be asked to enter the astronomical observatory dome in two separate sessions for each session.
・Please follow the instructions of the guide during the observation session.
・If you are intoxicated, you may be refused entry.
・Please refrain from participating in the event in pajamas or slippers.
・In winter, the temperature may drop to below -10°C.
・Please prepare cold weather gear according to the season.
・Please refrain from using flash or other electronic devices.
